At Elements Dance Center we have a "Dancers in Need" fund. Over the last 4 years we've been able to provide reduced tuition, costumes, and other acts of kindness when our dance families have needed it. Loss of family members, illness, etc. This fund is completely supported by families and small businesses in the area. When we call for action, the community rallies together. Each small donation has made a huge impact on so many already. Everything is donated. Elements tries to match the funds raised each year in hopes to provide help when needed to our dancers and their families.

When Charity (Owner/Director) opened in 2020 she knew it was going to be something unique and special. Not just a studio, but a true loving community of respect and compassion through art.

Miss Aniela (pictured with Miss Charity) started dancing with Charity in 2014ish... and continued until she graduated. After graduation she attended Point Park for dance and was able to return home this year and teach at Elements. It's been a full circle moment. A decade or more of support and mentorship. Dancing together again has been so amazing.

Being who Charity is she formed a great relationship and friendship with Aniela's Mom, Amy. Amy was an amazing woman, wife, mom, and also a fellow dancer. Amy was Charity's adopted Mom. When Charity's parents passed away Amy became her fellow "orphaned Adult" as she also had lost her parents. Amy supported Charity in her life journey and was always there when she needed her in those tough times. She was also around for the birth of her children, birthday parties and the occasional glass of wine. Amy was the BEST.

What some would never know is that Amy battled stage 4 breast cancer for years. You would never know because she was the strongest, positive and alive person you'd ever meet. She was a spitfire with a fire lit under her.

Unfortunately this year Amy lost her battle to her cancer and left us to be at peace. In honor of Amy we are renaming our "Dancer in Need" fund to the Amy Marcin Memorial Fund. And in honor of Amy we would like to present two scholarships in the amount of $250 each to two families this year who have been fighting the fight. These donations were provided by the Best Western and Quality Inn of Dunkirk.
